Camera Upgrades
Vivo X300 Pro
The Vivo X300 Pro receives the most significant camera upgrade, featuring a Zeiss triple-camera setup:
- Main Camera: 50MP LYT828 sensor with 1/1.8" size and f/1.75 aperture.
- Telephoto Camera: 200MP 1/1.4" Samsung HPB sensor, co-developed by Vivo and Samsung.
- Ultrawide Camera: 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor.
Front Camera: The selfie camera also uses the same Samsung JN1 sensor found in the ultrawide camera, offering a notable upgrade from the 32MP front camera in the Vivo X200 Pro.
Vivo X300
The Vivo X300 features a different but still powerful camera configuration:
- Main Camera: 200MP Samsung HPB sensor (same as the telephoto sensor on the X300 Pro).
- Telephoto Camera: 50MP Sony LYT602 sensor.
- Ultrawide Camera: 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor.
Front Camera: 50MP sensor, providing a strong upgrade from previous models.
Display and Design
The Vivo X300 features a 6.3-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This makes it significantly more compact than previous models, which came with a 6.67-inch screen. It appears that the X300 replaces the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, a variant that was never launched in India.
Performance: MediaTek Dimensity 9500
Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and offer up to 16GB of RAM. This marks a performance boost over last year’s X200 series, which was equipped with the Dimensity 9400.
