In the constantly progressing world of tech, the latest update comes from Vivo, which appears to be gearing up to launch an all-new version of its V60 smartphone, now renamed as the V60e. While the brand has yet to confirm the official launch date, a slew of leaked hands-on images—purportedly showing the upcoming V60 have surfaced online, along with key specifications.
According to a report by GSMArena, the phone is set to launch in India in Noble Gold and Elite Purple colour options. It is expected to feature a durable build, with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, along with Diamond Shield glass protection.
Vivo will reportedly offer three major Android OS updates and five years of security updates for the V60e. The device will also come with an IR blaster, NFC support, and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It will be available in three RAM and storage combinations:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
The phone will house a 6,550 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging. The battery capacity is expected to be one of the main upgrades over the V50e, which launched in April. Notably, both phones will be powered by the same chipset.
While Vivo has not yet announced the pricing, it is believed that the V60e will start at ₹28,999.
