Amid all the speculations and leaks, Chinese smartphone maker Vivo recently announced the launch date for its much-anticipated smartphone, the Vivo T3x 5G. Yes, the wait is almost over as the smartphone is soon coming to India. The company has scheduled its release in our country on April 17 when it will be launched during the brand’s official launch event.
“Get ready to elevate your smartphone experience with the upcoming launch of the vivo T3X 5G. Unleash turbo-charged performance, coupled with impressive Dual Stereo Speakers and audio booster. Mark your calendars and stay tuned to witness the all-new Vivo T3X 5G, launching on Thursday, April 17, 2024, at noon,” the company said in a release.
The announcement came following the revealing of the official poster which confirmed the Vivo T3x 5G’s colour options as well as the design. Here’s what we know so far and what to expect from the upcoming Vivo smartphone.
Expected design
Vivo had recently released a teaser image of the T3x suggesting that the smartphone will have a massive circular module housing the dual camera setup. Also, it will get an LED flash. The back panel of the smartphone will be shimmery, while there will be a power button and a volume rocker on the right. The smartphone will also get a fingerprint sensor. As per the teaser, the smartphone will be offered in Green and Maroon colour options.

Expected Specs
A robust 6000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support will power the T3x, which will come with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Additionally, rumours suggest that the smartphone will have dual stereo speakers with audio booster support. According to reports, the T3x will weigh around 199 grams and will be 7.99mm thick.
Vivo is expected to equip the T3x with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to offer up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. As far as the optics are concerned, the T3x may sport a 50 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary shooter. There might be an 8 MP front camera for selfies.
Launch date and expected price
The Vivo T3X 5G will be launched on Thursday, April 17, 2024. As for price, reports suggest that the smartphone is likely to cost under Rs 15,000. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart after the launch.
Earlier in March, Vivo launched the T3 5G at a price tag of Rs 19,999. The T3 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. A 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of optics, the Vivo T3 5G features a dual-camera setup at the rear, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary shooter. It sports a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
