New Delhi: Twitter CEO, Elon Musk has announced the introduction of voice and video chat features in the app. Musk stated that on the microblogging platform, users will be able to share voice and video chats without sharing their numbers. Soon your handle will have voice and video chat with anyone on this platform, so you can talk to people anywhere in the world without giving out your phone number, Musk wrote in a tweet.
After announcing several new features on the micro-blogging platform, Musk tweeted, “I hope this platform brings you immense convenience, fast.” The tech billionaire had earlier this month announced voice and video chat features along with other features like encrypted DMs.
Upload two hours of video on Twitter
As part of the new update, Twitter has also increased the video upload limit on the platform for paid users from 60 minutes to two hours. Additionally, users can now upload through the iOS app as well, however, the maximum upload quality remains at 1080p. It is noteworthy that before the new update, long videos could only be uploaded through the web.
