New Delhi: Many people among you might be using the Truecaller app. This app provides caller identification, call blocking, flash messaging, call recording, chat, and voice services. However, last year, the company discontinued the call recording service on iOS and Android. But now, this service has been reintroduced by the company. Currently, this feature is not available in India, and the recording service is available in the paid version. Truecaller has launched the call recording service in the US. Gradually, the company will roll out this service in other countries as well. The company stated that Truecaller has launched AI-powered call recording functionality for its more than 350 million active users on both iPhones and Android, which will begin in the coming months in the United States and gradually in various parts of the world. Along with this, the company mentioned that the app sets itself apart from other apps with its AI-powered capabilities.

Notes will be created for long calls.

In addition to call recording, the company has also introduced a service to translate calls into text messages. This feature will be useful during long calls when people are discussing important things. Currently, this feature only understands English, which will be rolled out soon. The company will provide users with options to listen to recorded calls, rename them, delete unwanted calls, and share them. To clarify, this time the company is using a recording line for call recording, which is a cloud telephony-based service. In simple terms, you can record your calls on the cloud and listen to them after the call ends.

How to enable recording on iPhone:

If you want to record incoming calls on an iPhone, you need to receive the call and go to the Truecaller app, where you can search for recording and start it. Once done, the recording line will start, and you need to merge it with the main call. Similarly, you need to do the same for outgoing calls. You first need to start the call line and then call any person from your phonebook, and merge both calls. Please note that the provided information is based on the details you shared and may be subject to change or may vary depending on the app's updates.
