New Delhi: Tecno today launched a new budget smartphone in India. Dubbed the Pop 7 Pro, the newly launched smartphone is the successor to the Tecno Pop 6 Pro that was launched in India in September last year and comes with features like a MediaTek chipset, dynamic RAM, 256GB storage and a dual back. camera settings. In India, the Tecno Pop 7 Pro will compete with Realme C33, Poco M2, Moto E13 and Redmi A1 among others.

The newly launched Tecno Pop 7 Pro comes in Endless Black and Uyuni Blue color variants and will be available in two RAM variants in India. While the base variant with up to 4GB RAM will be available at a price of Rs 6,799, the top variant with up to 6GB RAM will be available at a price of Rs 7,299. The smartphone will go on sale in the country on February 22 via Amazon India.

In terms of specifications, the Tecno Pop 7 Pro features a square unibody enhanced design with an engine-inspired dual ring rear camera. It comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ Dot Notch IPS display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, 480 nits peak brightness, 120 Hz sampling rate, IPX2 dust and water resistant finish.
It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, which is complemented by up to 3 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. It comes in two variants – one with 2GB RAM and 2GB additional MemFusion RAM and the other with 3GB RAM and 3GB additional MemFusion RAM. It runs Android 12 HiOS 11 and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W adapter in the box.

Coming to the camera, the Tecno Pop 9 Pro smartphone has a 12MP dual AI camera with dual flash on the back and a 5MP AI selfie camera. For connectivity, the phone has dual 4G SIM dual VoLTE support, 4G, Wi-Fi 2.4 and Bluetooth 5.0.
