Tecno recently launched its camera-centric Camon 30 series in India, which consists of two smartphones: Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G. Some features of both the devices are common such as a 5000mAh battery, 70W fast charging, support for IP53 water and dust resistance, IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and NFC. Tecno Camon 30 5G: Specs
The Tecno Camon 30 5G boasts an LTPS AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1080 x 2436 pixels resolution. The phone has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, 2160Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. A dual speaker setup with Dolby sound support is also available. Other features include IP53 dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, and IR blaster.
Powering the Camon 30 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, which is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with a 70W fast charger. Additionally, it also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

Optically, the Camon 30 5G sports a dual camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary lens with OIS support and a 2MP depth sensor. There is also a 50MP autofocus camera on the front of the phone with an f/2.45 aperture.

The Camon 30 Premier 5G features a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels. It features an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, PWM dimming of 2160 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a peak brightness of 1400 nits and front Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
This Tecno phone is slightly more premium powered and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Optically, the Camon 30 Premier sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x on-sensor zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Upfront, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel autofocus snapper for selfies and video calls.
Tecno Camon 30 5G, Tecno Camon 30 Premier 50G: Price in India
The Camon 30 5G carries a price tag of Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, while its 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant costs and Rs 26,999.
On the other hand, the the single variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage of the Camon 30 Premier 5G costs Rs 39,999.
