The company provides this feature with the rear camera of the phone. With the help of this, the height of anyone can be measured with the camera itself.
LiDAR or Light Detection and Ranging allows users to scan and map the environment. It works like a radar. However, in this, distance and depth are measured only through laser. Before proceeding, let us tell you that LiDAR Scanner is not provided in all iPhones.
This feature is only available for Pro models of iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. That is, you can use it only on iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models.
Measure app will work
You can use it with the Measure app of the iPhone. For this, you must first open the Measure app on your iPhone. After this, you position the iPhone towards the person whose height you want to measure.
You have to point the camera from head to toe. After some time a line will appear on the top of the person. It will show below the height measurement line. To take a photo of the measurement, you have to click on the Take Picture button.
To save the photo, tap on the screenshot in the lower left corner. After this, click on Done and click on Save to Photo or Save to Files. You can easily share height measurement photos from photos or files.
You have to move the iPhone away from the moment to take the measurement again. This will reset the height and you can take the measurement again.
