Despite more than its availability for more than one year, many of us remain ignorant of how to use this service to get a number that suits our choice. For that, we have prepared this guide explaining the Jio Choice Number scheme, and how one can get their mobile number customised.

Jio Choice Number is a service that provides subscribers with the ability to select a mobile number series of their preference while subscribing to a ‘Jio Plus Postpaid plan.’ Jio Plus Postpaid plans are available starting at Rs 349 for individuals and Rs 449 for family plans.

There are two ways to avail of this service: either through the MyJio app or while visiting the website offered by the Jio Choice Number. Here’s how to get your new number:

Number choice through website

1. Browse the website of Jio Choice Number: https://www.jio.com/selfcare/choice-number/
2. Confirm your existing JioPostpaid Plus number field using an OTP.
3. Enter the new page; there you have to enter your choice of 4 to 6 digits, name, and postal code.
4. The list of all the available numbers in your pin code area is given.
5. Choose any number and pay for that; you’ll then get a new SIM.

Number choice via My Jio app

1. After opening MyJio, go to the menu.
2. Click on “Chosen Number” and follow to ‘Let’s Book Now.’
3. Fill your name, PIN code, and your preferred new 4- to 5-digit number.
4. Scroll through and click on the number you’d like.
5. Pay ₹499 and confirm the booking to get your new number.
