Spotify Down: Users report app crashes and unresponsive playback

Spotify is often the go-to choice of users to get their favorite music, but its recent outage is letting users down. Jilted users have started lining up reports of it not working over at DownDetector, which now showcases close to 1085 reports of the platform being down.

Users on social media, Reddit, and X have flagged problems with the application. Users have been having difficulty accessing its homepage and are experiencing playback issues with song queues. As per a Reuters report, Spotify is aware of the issue and has posted on X: “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!”

The outages have been reported globally, with reports coming in from the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
