With no more important tech launches planned for the remainder of the year, it would be fair to reiterate on how the battle between Samsung and Apple would shape up in 2025.

Although Samsung has launched some of the most highly sold and revered phones in the past their new additions lack the capability to stand out is the crowd. Every competitor of the brand in the market is pitching a new course of action to get back in the competition, but Samsung itself seems to be lost in its course.

As of now apple has showcased a profound strength in implementing its new AI additions to firmware. While the new leaks for the Galaxy s25 confirm similar changes as we have been before, nothing new that would excite the users to que up in front of the stores seems to be happening.

Here are a few things that seemed to have gone wrong with Samsung

New Innovation and Changes

Since the bad publicity that Note 7 as well as the Fold received Samsung has started playing it safe. It seems that the negative reviews that the company has been subjected to hampered their will to innovate further.

As per recent leaks have showcased the design of the new Galaxy S 25 series seems to be the same as the outgoing series. This could be a hassle, as many users have complained the Note as well as the fold to have significant heft even after being great phones.

Over the years Samsung has been able to win over the market with their new innovations and excellent marketing tactics. But being averse to the changing trends of the market has not led to positive results, as seen in the case of Nokia as well.

Being dynamic and providing the users with what they seek in a short time frame might be the way to go for Samsung as of yet.

Shock and Awe

Over the years Samsung had been able to shock the users wit their innovative designs and changes. Phones like the first Fold the original Galaxy Note were able to cause a shock amongst people.

Their new designs and features wooed the customers in a different manner. The phones had refreshing new design and features that were different than the usual phones that were available in the market. Samsung would have to again come up with features that would shock the world.

If not in the form factor Samsung can probably work on their interface and provide the people with a UI that is unlike any other brand. Any step to break the monotony of the design would be a welcome step.

Issues With The From Factor

Samsung’s pursuit to perfect a single form factor has led them into a jeopardy. Over the years they have been stuck to similar form factors that are heavier and difficult to use than the competitors offerings.

The Fold as well as the Note are heavy phones and its hard to carry them around in your pockets. Beyond that the One Plus competitor phones are much more easier and faster to charge and available at cheaper prices. The fact that in the international market Samsung devices are available with carrier options has led them to upkeep their sales numbers otherwise they could have suffered sales loss as well.

Changes That Samsung Has to Bring In

With every new generation Samsung shaves a little weight off all their phone and similar efforts are necessary for the new Gen of Galaxy phones as well.

Beyond that users have complained of weight imbalance in phones, this issue has been a prevalent one in some of the models. The top half of the phone is generally heavier than the bottom half. Samsung needs to address this Asap.

Proper Implementation of Ai in User Interface

Samsung would have to work on adding new Ai widgets and features along with their user interface with their new launches. While most of the competitors that Samsung has to face have already gained a lead on the brand, Samsung would have to come up with unique features to sustain their brand Image.
