In a recent event that was headlined by Samsung, the brand showcased the slim creation that they might be launching soon. As per the reports that have been coming right away from San Jose, California, where Samsung showcased the phone no new features of the phone have been revealed as of yet.
As per the appearance of the phone, its pretty evident that the phone is very thin. Samsung has been trying to point out its thin architecture as its main selling point. The phone does showcase a shocking reduction of bezels and screen borders. Beyond that the borders of the phone are pretty thin as well. beyond that the rear camera island is pretty different as well as it has a oval shape that is unlike any other phone that is currently on sale by Samsung.
New Camera
The new Edge would probably only have a dual camera setup. As per reports it has also been established that this might have to do something with the keeping the phone thin. Beyond that the alleged iphone 17 air would probably feature only a single camera to keep the phone as thin as possible. Does that mean that Samsung and Apple would indulge in a new competition to develop the most thinnest phone? It would only be evident in the upcoming few months.
Name
As of yet no official name has been given by Samsung, but its probable that the new phone might be called The S25 Edge. The new phone would be quite different than the older version of the Edge that were launched. In the older versions the edges were curved as well, but this time around the form factor of the phone would be pretty normal.
Possible Technical Specification
While no new information about the technological details of the phone have been revealed. Its possible that Samsung would include some of the most advanced technologies in the Edge S-25. Beyond that as per rumors the phone would have a OLED screen along with a Qualcomm snapdragon SM8750-3-AB 8 Elite.
Beyond that its possible that the phone would have a 7 core GPU along with Adreno 830. As per rumor’s the phone would have a 8k camera recording at 30 fps as well. As per the preliminary inspections the phone would have dimensions of 6.7 inches, 108.4 cm2.
