Samsung and Corning have recently made an announcement about how the Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 would be an integral part of the Galaxy S 25 Edge Build. The addition of the glass would make the new phone more damage resistant and is made to offer a “ Sleek yet stronger Design”
The Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 features crystals that have been intricately embedded within the glass matrix. Such features enhance its durability and crack deflection capabilities. Samsung has said that the Synergy between the glass and crystal components has been specifically engineered to provide improved toughness while retaining high optical transparency.
Better Damage Resistant Properties
As per Corning, the ion Exchange helps fortify the glass ceramic material and improves the overall strength of the glass. Such features make the new Corning Gorilla glass much more damage resistant. The Idea behind the new glass is to achieve a remarkable combination of rigidity and strength. Such features make the phone much more damage resistant. The new Samsung Ultrathin phone would be officially launched on May 13th when the company would launch it in Korea. The overall layout of the phone and its final layout has already been revealed.
