Since the sneak peek of the new edge at a recent Samsung event its launch has become highly anticipated. Samsung showcased the phone at the Samsung Unpacked event earlier. Ever since than, its unique form factor has become a subject matter of headlines.
A new revelation from Ice Universe’s newest Brief X Revelation that has been reported by Phone arena has revealed another primary feature of the phone.
Battery Issues For The Edge Formfactor
As per a latest leak it has become apparent that the Edge 25 would have to go through the issues of fitting in a appropriate battery fit for the phone. As per the leaks it seems that Samsung is finding it hard to find a battery that can easily fit the thin chassis of the new Edge formfactor. The challenges continue beyond that as the battery would also have to be capable enough to provide for at least a day worth of use on a single charge.
As per a recent leak the New S25 Edge would be fitted with a 3,900 mAh battery capacity. Considering the 6mm thickness and weight of less than the older S 25, this might be a challenge.
Design Specifics
The Edge would be much more taller and wider than the 6.2 inch Galaxy S25 Edge. Specifically a, very detailed leak a few days ago revealed that the measurements of the new phone measured around 158.2 and 75.5 mm.
S25 Edge Possible launch
Its possible that the new phone might be launched in the second quarter of the year. This would mean that the phone might be possibly launched in either early April or June.
Specs As per leaks
The phone would have a dual rear facing camera, with almost 200 mp primary sensor and a 12 mp ultra wide angel lens. The phone would be powered by a Snapdragon 8 elite processor. Beyond these specs the phone would be powered by a 3900 mAh battery and about 12 gb of ram. The battery capacity falls short of the battery specs that have been showcased by other contemporary competitors of the phone. Its Possible that Samsung might be able to optimize the use of the battery to help the phone use the battery much more efficiently.
Since the phone would have carried over parts form the s 25 series its possible that the prices might not sky rocket above the prices of Galaxy S 25 Ultra.
