Samsung has launched the all new Galaxy S 25 Edge and the phone Prominently showcases the new innovations that Samsung has instilled in the phone chassis to accommodate flagship specs and camera sensors at a thickness of only 5.84 mm. The new Edge is being boisterously poised as a new marvel of engineering that would become the go-to choice for many. This would not be the only phone to have adapted to a thinner chassis with flagship specs, As Apple has been planning to launch a new super thin version of the iPhone 17. Dubbed the iPhone Air the new device would supposedly be even thinner than the Edge. Dummies have showcased that the phone would have a thickness of somewhere around 5.5mm.
Samsung Galaxy Edge S25 Specs
The Galaxy Edge nitpicks from the S 25 range the best features and specs and presents them in a new tighter and a more agile chassis that is only 5.84MM thick. The Edge has a 6.7 inch LTPO AMOLED 2x display with corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The camera unit would include a 200Mp f/1.7 aperture, (Wide), 1/156”.PDAF OIS along with a 12Mp, f/2.2 ultrawide PDAF front facing camera. As per the specs the phone has a 3900 mAh battery with a 25W wired charging apparatus.
Apple iPhone 17 Air Expected Specs
While Apple has not confirmed any details about the release of the new phone its possible that the air would be equipped with a 6.7 inch OLED screen, with HDR support. The processor would be a A19 (3-Nm) chipset with Hexacore architecture and a Apple GPU. The Phone would run on iOS 19. While Apple has not revealed what the variants would look like its possible that the variants would include 128Gb 12Gb RAM, 256GB, 12Gb RAM , 512GB 12Gb RAM.
While Samsung has offered their phone with a single camera setup that has a 48MP with dual tone LED flash and HDR support. The front camera unit would be a 12MP unit with f/1.9, 23MM wide front camera. Since the dummies have showcased the phone to be only 5.4 mm thick there is widespread suspicion that the phone would have a compromised battery that could be even smaller than that of the 3900 mAh of Samsung Galaxy S 25 Edge. a latest leak has also elucidated that its possible that Apple might sell the phone along with a special case that would further aid the battery life.
