Samsung India has launched the Galaxy M17 5G: the latest addition to its popular Galaxy M series. The Galaxy M17 5G builds on the success of the Galaxy M16 5G. The new iteration of the M series features a sleek and stylish design, a No-Shake camera with OIS, and intelligent AI-driven features at an affordable price. The phone offers best-in-segment AI capabilities along with a Super AMOLED display, camera, security, calling experience, and OS upgrades.
No shake Camera with OIS
One of the standout features that Samsung is boasting about is the presence of a “No-Shake Camera” in the price range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. It comes with a 50MP OIS triple camera system designed to capture blur-free photos and shake-free videos. The high-resolution main sensor, paired with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), reduces motion blur and compensates for hand movements, ensuring sharp pictures even when shooting handheld videos.
The triple camera setup includes an Ultra-Wide camera and a Macro camera, which offer flexible framing for every scene. The phone also features a segment-leading 13MP high-resolution front camera for selfies.
Enhanced Durability
Samsung has developed the phone to be just 7.5 mm slim and features a premium camera deco. The phone is further complemented by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for superior durability. It also comes with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Galaxy M17 5G will be available in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black.

The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1000 nits HBM peak brightness for better colour contrast, providing an immersive viewing experience. Powered by the 6nm-based Exynos 1330 processor, the Galaxy M17 5G delivers fast and power-efficient performance, ideal for seamless multitasking. These features are supported by a 5,000 mAh battery for extended usage. The phone supports 25W charging, giving users more power in less time.

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G will be available at a starting price of Rs. 12,499 only for the 4/128 GB variant. The 6/128 GB and the 8/128 GB variants will be available at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,499 respectively. On top of the prices, customers can also avail easy EMI offers, i.e., up to 3 months No Cost EMI through all leading banks/NBFC partners.
Galaxy M17 will go on sale on October 13, and the phone will be available on Amazon, Samsung.com, and select retail stores.

New Ai Features
Further improving the presence of AI features across the Galaxy phone family, Samsung has collaborated with Google to offer features such as Circle to Search. Beyond that, the new phone also features Gemini Live, declaring a new AI experience through real-time visual conversations powered by AI.
The Galaxy M17 runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 straight out of the box, offering a clean, intuitive, and customizable user experience.
The device has also been equipped with on-device voicemail, allowing callers to leave a message when a call goes unanswered – a segment-first feature. The phone will also feature Samsung Knox, Samsung’s most advanced hardware-based security innovation.
Beyond all the features already mentioned, the phone will also have a Voice Focus mode to reduce background noise, along with Samsung Wallet with Tap and Pay functionality.
