The Redmi Turbo 3 was recently launched in China. The new model has received significant improvements as compared to last year’s Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Boasting Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, the Turbo 3 runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. The new smartphone sports an OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Turbo 3 comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary shooter positioned at the rear. The Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging. In addition to the standard model, Xiaomi also introduced a limited Harry Potter edition of the Redmi Turbo 3.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Turbo 3 runs on Xiaomi‘s HyperOS interface and features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1220 x 2712 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision Support and a peak brightness of 2400 nits. It comes with the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.
Camera
In terms of optics, the Redmi Turbo 3 sports a dual camera setup at the rear comprising a 50PM Sony LYT 600 shooter with optical image stabilisation (OIS) with f/1.59 aperture. Additionally, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 20MP snapper up front for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Wi-Fi 6E, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Integrated sensors include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, ultrasonic distance sensor, IR remote control, and X-axis linear motor. Additionally, the phone has a built-in fingerprint sensor and supports a face unlock feature. Furthermore, the Redmi Turbo 3 has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and is IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance.
Battery
The Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging. The fast-charging technology is said to offer up to 13 hours of short video playback time on a single charge. Weighing 179 grams, the smartphone measures 160 x 74.4 x 7.8 mm.
Redmi Turbo 3: Price And Availability
The Redmi Turbo 3 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000) for the 12GB + 256GB version, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 26,450). Meanwhile, the 16GB + 512GB model costs CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 28,000) and the top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 32,000). Currently available for pre-sale in China, the smartphone is offered with the following colour options: Green Blade, Mo Jing (black), and Ice Titanium. The Redmi Turbo 3 will go on sale from April 15.
