When will the series be launched and what will be the price?
Redmi A2 series will be launched in India on 19th May. Two models Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ will be launched in the series. The price of Redmi A2 series is expected to be less than Rs 8,000. This is because the Redmi A1 series was also launched in the same price segment.
Features of Redmi A2
Redmi A1 series came with MediaTek Helio processor and leather back. The leather back finish can also be retained in the Redmi A2 series. Water-drop notch display can be found in both models. The series may feature a 6.52-inch display with HD+ resolution and support for 60Hz refresh rate. Both can be given 8MP dual-rear camera setup and 5MP selfie shooter. Both models can get 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
