ZTE’s gaming-focused sub-brand, Red Magic, has officially announced the international launch of the Red Magic 11 Pro. The powerhouse smartphone packs flagship-grade hardware for gamers, including the Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 chipset, a high refresh rate display, and an advanced cooling system.
The global model will feature a slightly smaller battery compared to the Chinese version while mostly retaining its high-end features.
Display and Performance
The Red Magic 11 Pro includes a 6.85-inch BOE X10 FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3000Hz touch sampling rate, 1800 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass protection.
Camera and Under-Display Selfie Camera
The new phone features a triple camera setup with a 50MP OmniVision OV50E40 main sensor, a 50MP OV50D40 secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. It also houses a 16MP under-display selfie camera, enabling a seamless, notch-free screen design.
Cooling and Performance Enhancements
One of the standout features of the phone is the presence of an under-screen copper foil with high-conductivity graphene and an aluminum alloy mid-frame. It also includes a turbo fan capable of spinning at 24,000 RPM. These features ensure that the phone delivers optimal gaming performance with effective thermal management.
Battery and Charging
The phone is equipped with a 7,500mAh battery along with 80W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support. For comparison, the Chinese version includes an 8,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
Connectivity and Features
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Gaming-specific features include shoulder trigger buttons with a 520Hz touch response rate and an IPX8 water-resistance rating.
Price and Availability
The Red Magic 11 Pro starts at USD 699 (approx. ₹62,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 16GB + 512GB version is priced at USD 799 (approx. ₹70,000), while the top-end 24GB + 1TB model is priced at around USD 999 (approx. ₹88,000).
