New Delhi: Poco has launched a new Airtel-exclusive model of its C51 smartphone, which is priced very low. Will be able to buy the new model at an even lower price than the Poco C51 launched in April for Rs 6,499.
Customers can buy the Poco C51 for just Rs 5,999, which includes exclusive Airtel benefits. These benefits include 7.5% off (up to Rs. 750) on the selling price of the phone and 50GB of free data. The free data is provided in the form of five coupons, each offering 10GB of data. However, only one coupon can be used per month, and each coupon has a validity of 30 days.
An Airtel-locked variant of the Poco C51 will be locked to Airtel for 18 months. To unlock the device, users need to insert an Airtel SIM card and do an Airtel True Unlimited recharge of at least Rs 199 within 24 hours of setting up the phone. Once these conditions are met, users will be able to use non-Airtel SIM cards.
The Airtel-locked variant of the Poco C51 will be available for purchase starting July 18 exclusively on Flipkart.
A 6.52-inch LCD panel is seen in this cheap smartphone from Poco, which offers HD+ resolution and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, an overclocked version of the Helio G35 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. With this, virtual RAM support of up to 3GB is also available.
The Poco C51 gets a dual rear camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor along with a secondary depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
It runs on Android 13 GO Edition, and the company has claimed that the device will receive security updates for a minimum of 2 years. As for other features, this budget smartphone includes options like a 3.5mm headphone jack, an FM radio, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
