New Delhi: Poco is bringing a new series of smartphones in the market. The company has announced the date of the global launch of its upcoming series Poco F5. Poco is all set to launch the Poco F5 series globally on 9th May. What will be the timing of launching?
Poco’s global Twitter handle has announced the launch of Poco F5 Pro in the upcoming event. The smartphone series will be available for purchase on Flipkart as a microsite of the smartphone series is live on the website. The global launch event will begin at 5.30 pm IST. You can watch the live stream on the company’s official social media handles and YouTube page.
Possible price of Poco F5 in India
The company has not disclosed the price from its side, but it is expected that the price of Poco F5 for the base model can be between Rs 28,000 to Rs 29,000. As per the official teaser, the smartphone will be launched in white and black colours.
Possible specifications of Poco F5, Poco F5 Pro
The upcoming Poco F5 is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo while the Pro model could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K60. Both Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro can get 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED display which will offer 120Hz refresh rate. Poco F5’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and Poco F5 Pro Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset can be given. Both handsets are expected to provide up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Camera and battery details of Poco F5, Poco F5 Pro
For photography, both the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro are expected to come with the same triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It can have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfie. As for the battery, the Poco F5 is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery that may support 67W fast charging and the Pro model is expected to pack a 5,160mAh battery that may also support 67W fast charging.
Pixel 7a will be launched on May 10
Google is going to do its grand event Google IO 2023 next month. The event will be held in California. In this event, the company can launch pixel 7a, pixel fold and Android 14.
