Oppo Find X9 Series Debuts with Hasselblad Cameras, Android 16 and Big Battery Boost – India launch Coming Soon!

Both models are equipped with ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners for enhanced security and convenience

Oppo has finally unveiled the Find X9 series, comprising the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, in China. Both smartphones are now powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, making them among the first devices to feature MediaTek’s new flagship chipset.

Oppo has also confirmed that the series will be launched globally soon, with India’s release expected in mid-November 2025.

Display and Performance

The Oppo Find X9 features a brand-new 6.59-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600 nits of peak brightness, while the Find X9 Pro boasts a larger 6.78-inch OLED screen. Both models are equipped with ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners for enhanced security and convenience.

Under the hood, both phones are powered by the Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Oppo claims major efficiency gains with the chipset, enabling faster AI-driven camera performance and smoother multitasking.

Battery and Charging

The Find X9 Pro packs a large 7,500mAh battery, while the standard Find X9 comes with a 7,025mAh battery. Both devices support 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging, allowing users to quickly recharge their phones with minimal downtime.

Camera Features with Hasselblad Tuning

The Find X9 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with OIS, alongside a 200MP telephoto lens tuned by Hasselblad. This lens includes 70mm Hasselblad optics and Prism Hybrid OIS. The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps in Dolby Vision, and up to 4K at 120fps for telephoto video capture.

The regular Find X9 also delivers solid camera capabilities, offering a triple 50MP setup that includes a main sensor, periscope telephoto, and ultra-wide lens, all designed to deliver high-quality photos and videos.

Software and Long-Term Support

Both phones ship with ColorOS 16, based on Android 16. The updated software brings smoother animations, AI-powered tools, and more customization options. Oppo has committed to 5 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security patches, putting it on par with other leading smartphone brands in terms of long-term support.

India Launch in November

Although Oppo hasn’t officially confirmed a date, sources suggest that the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will launch in India by mid-November 2025. With their flagship-grade specifications, premium camera setups, and long-lasting batteries, the Find X9 series is expected to compete directly with top-tier rivals like the OnePlus 15 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in the Indian flagship smartphone market. The Find X9 starts at Rs CNY 4,399 around Rs 54,350, while the Find X9 pro is priced from CNY 5,299 around Rs 65,450 for the base 12Gb RAM and 256 Gb storage variant.
