The Find X9 from Oppo could be the perfect choice if you’re looking for a well-equipped flagship with superior camera quality. With the help of our comprehensive user review, readers will be able to analyse the merits and demerits of the phone more closely and decide whether it’s the right choice for them or not.
Design and Build
Right out of the box, the first thing we noticed about the phone was how light it is-especially for a device that has a 7025 mAh battery. At around 203 g and only 8 mm thick, it won’t bog you down because of its weight. In fact, it doesn’t bog you down with any of its features. The flat edges and the combination of glass and fused metal ensure a premium feel. Once you power on the phone, you notice the thin bezels that surround the display. The X9 has a 91.0% screen-to-body ratio.
The Find X9 is available in two colours: Space Black and Titanium Grey. The phone also has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring it can handle everyday nicks and falls with ease.
Display and Performance
With the Find X9, users get a 6.59-inch AMOLED, 1B colours, 120 Hz, Dolby Vision–enabled HDR10+ / HDR Vivid display capable of 3660 nits peak brightness. The screen, with a pixel density of 460 ppi, offers crystal-clear images with accurate colours. The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures snappy transitions and swift changes while gaming without perceptible noise. We had no issues using the phone indoors or outdoors; it manages brightness well.
Performance and Specs
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3 nm) ensures a user experience free of hassles or glitches. The octa-core processor-1×4.21 GHz C1-Ultra, 3×3.5 GHz C1-Premium, and 4×2.7 GHz C1-Pro-caters well to heavy gamers who plan intensive use. With the ARM G-1 Ultra GPU, the phone is capable of delivering impressive graphics even under strenuous loads. To ensure the device doesn’t heat up, it features an expansive vapour chamber system.
Camera and Battery
Oppo says they have equipped the rear of the phone with a Hasselblad Master Camera System, engineered for clarity and true-to-life colours. The setup consists of:
- 50 MP pro-level main camera with a 1/1.4″ sensor, f/1.6 aperture, and OIS
- 50 MP periscope telephoto with a 1/1.95″ sensor, f/2.6 aperture, and OIS
- 50 MP ultra-wide camera
- A True Colour Camera with 9 spectral channels

The phone can record 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision videos, where every frame is smooth and rich in light and shadow. Since the phone supports 4K 120 fps Log, users can shoot like pros with up to 10-bit depth and high dynamic range, making it ideal for professional workflows.

During our usage, we had no issues with battery life. It charges fast and drains slowly when left idle. To ensure you’re never out of juice, the Find X9 supports 80W SuperVOOC along with 50W wireless charging.
ColorOS 16
With the new update, users will witness seamless animations with smooth and natural interactions throughout the interface. The phone introduces a new Luminous Rendering Engine, which revamps the Android rendering framework. It delivers smooth visuals and instant responses for immersive experiences.
