New Delhi: Oppo has launched its Oppo A78 5G charging in India. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and comes with dual rear camera. The smartphone company says the handset will support Airtel, Jio and other 5G networks in the country.

The Oppo A78 5G is priced at ₹18,999 for the single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is set to go on sale in the country from January 18, 2023 through the company’s official website and Amazon India. Aspirants can avail up to 10% cashback and six months NCEMI from SBI, ICICI, IDFC, OneCard and AU Finance Bank.

Features
The Oppo A78 5G features a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 480 nits along with a 96 percent color gamut. This display will reportedly offer HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels).
This smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It supports extended RAM storage via a microSD card slot and can support up to 1TB of extended memory.
Camera
In terms of optics, the Oppo A78 5G packs a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset features an 8MP camera sensor inside a waterdrop-style notch. It comes with ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
When it comes to battery backup, Oppo’s latest offering packs a 5,000mAh battery backed by 33W fast charging. According to Oppo, SUPERVOOCTM fast charging can fully charge the smartphone in around 60 minutes and last up to 23 hours with heavy usage. It comes with a charger and a Type-C charging cable. For sensors, the device is equipped with a side fingerprint sensor.

The Oppo A78 5G features dual stereo speakers and also provides an Ultra Volume mode. According to the company, it will help users by increasing the speaker level by 200 percent to hear clear sound.
