Following the leaked details for the upcoming Poco F8 Ultra and Redmi K90 Pro, similar sources from China have also revealed what we should expect camera-wise from the upcoming OnePlus 15 as well as the Realme GT 8 Pro. Both phones are expected to launch in China this month.
Leaks Reveal Camera Details
As per the leaks, the OnePlus 15 will be equipped with a 1/1.5-type sensor for its main camera, specifically the Sony Lytia LYT-700. Its periscope telephoto camera will use the ½.76” Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. The OnePlus 15 may sport the 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor for its ultrawide camera.
If the rumours prove to be correct, the OnePlus 15 will have a slightly smaller camera sensor than its predecessor’s 1/1.43-type, and a much smaller periscope telephoto camera sensor than the OnePlus 13’s, which measures 1/1.95. These would not be the only compromises either, as it is possible that the OnePlus 15 is rumoured to sport a 1.5K resolution rather than its predecessor’s QHD+.
Realme GT 8 Pro
The GT 8 Pro will have a similar camera setup as the OnePlus 15. It will feature the same Sony Lytia LYT-700 sensor, and its periscope telephoto camera will have a 200 MP resolution with a 1/1.56-type Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will thus have a much-improved zoom camera compared to the GT 7 Pro, and arguably a better one than the OnePlus 15 as well.
