A smaller version of the NYT Crossword, the Mini Crossword is accessible to anyone with a New York Times account. The daily crossword puzzle by Joel Fagliano offers three to five clues in each direction on a 5×5 grid most often, but sometimes the puzzles are larger 7×7, especially on Saturdays. The Mini is easier compared to the traditional daily puzzle.
