Nothing is all set to launch their new flagship device on July 1, a slew of leaked renders have showcased the new possible look of the phone. Most recently new leaks have revealed the specs of the flagship and the chipset it would be equipped with. A new leak has revealed that the phone might be equipped with the all new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. While previous leaks revealed that the phone would be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite a new leak has detailed that the new flagship might step down to the inferior Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
The 8s gen 4 has a CPU consisting of Cortex -X4 (3.2 GHZ) three cortex- A720 cores at 3GHZ , two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8Ghz and two Cortex-A720 Cores at 2GHZ. Such a distribution would help the processor churn out better performance than last year’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. But since the processor does not use Qualcomm’s powerful Oryon CPU cores, hence it would likely lag far behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
New GPU For The Processor
The new processor sports an Adreno GPU with new sliced architecture that debuted with the 8 Elite. The processor is known for its NPU that is 44% faster than the older Snapdragon 8s GEN 3 Chip, 4K/30fps low-light video real time segmentation for images and Video.
Bluetooth 6.0m Wi-Fi and XPAN, these allows you to use compatible earbuds and headphones over Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth for improvise range and quality. If the phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 the phone would lack 8K video recording m 4K/120FPS slow motion capture and MM wave 5G. Since Nothing has not confirmed the details its dicey whether the phone would be launched with the older processor or not.
