Earlier this month the company confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 – like its predecessor – will be manufactured in India. Nothing has revealed that recycled materials and plastic-free packaging will be used during the production of the Nothing Phone 2 as part of the firm’s sustainability efforts. With less than a month left for the launch of the Nothing Phone 2, the company has already revealed some key specifications of the smartphone.
Specifications
The handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a chip that is much faster than the Snapdragon 778G+ on the Nothing Phone 1. It will be powered by a massive 4,700mAh battery. The company has also confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will receive three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates. This means that customers buying the Nothing Phone 2 will get the same software support as the recent flagship phones from Oppo and OnePlus.
