New Delhi: Nokia is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone in India soon. The HMD Global brand licensee earlier this month announced an agreement with Reliance Jio for 5G deployment. The Finnish brand’s first 5G-compatible phone in India is set to be the Nokia G60 5G.

The device is listed on the Nokia India website with a full specification sheet. Only the availability details of the smartphone now remain a mystery. Talking about the price, the price of Nokia G60 5G is expected to be around 25 thousand rupees.

Nokia G60 5G Specifications

The Nokia G60 5G was announced for the global market in September during the IFA 2022 event. The Indian edition will come with similar features. As per the official listing, the device flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch.

It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and 500 nits peak brightness. The screen is shielded by Gorilla Glass 5. The power button on the smartphone houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Nokia G60 5G Camera

On the imaging front, the Nokia G60 5G sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth unit. There is an 8MP front-facing snapper for selfies.

Nokia G60 5G Battery

Under the hood, the Nokia G60 5G is listed with the Snapdragon 695 processor. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Nokia G60 packs a 4,500mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. The smartphone comes with Android 12 OS out of the box.

The official listing confirms that it will receive three years of Android OS upgrades as well as three years of monthly security updates.

Connectivity options on the Nokia G60 5G include dual SIM with eSIM support, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia G60 5G will be available in Black and Ice color options.
