WhatsApp New Features

With a recent update, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to quickly share what’s happening in their lives. The reintroduction of this feature makes it more visible, timely, and easier to use.

With the new feature, users can let their friends and followers know what they are up to in just a minute. The feature makes putting up an update much easier. With an update on the “About,” you can let others know why you cannot take a call or share your current feelings using an emoji and a short phrase.

The new “About” will be easier to spot at the top of 1-to-1 chats on your profile. You can also reply to another person’s “About” by tapping on the chat. The “About” will expire after one day, but users can choose to make it disappear faster or keep it longer at a time of their choosing. All you have to do is go to Settings and tap “Set About” to choose your timer.

You can also decide who can see your “About,” limiting it only to your contacts, and make it more visible through your privacy settings.
