The Indian Market has a great dearth for handheld devices that can be taken along for gaming on the move. But To set things right the new switch handheld devices first look has been released on Thursday. The new console would go on sale across different markets soon this year.
While the overall design of the new console might appear to be the same, the most significant change would be the Joy Con Controllers that attach to the Body of the device.
New Changes
The new version of the Switch would have a bigger screen, about a 8.4 inch screen. Beyond that the device would have a bigger display along with updated Joy Cons and slimmer screen bezels. The right Joy Con would have a dedicated home button right next to it along with trigger buttons on the back left and right hand side.
Beyond that the new version would have a updated U shaped stand at the back of the device that would help the gamers use the console at different angels.
Nintendo Switch 2 New Trailer
As per the trailer released by Nintendo themselves the console would have a bigger screen, emphasized by the brand by stretching motion in the trailer. Beyond that the new console would have a type c charger below along with a new u shaped frame. There were rumor’s that the new Joy con’s would have a mouse like scroll button, but as of yet no such feature has been witnessed by in the console. The joy cons would attach to the body through magnetic pins. The trailer also discloses a dock that features the game play of Mario kart. The console would be backwards compatible and hence you would be able to play Nintendo Switch 2 games as well as Nintendo Switch Games.
Competing Consoles

The console is a true power house that can easily tackle AAA Video games. While the console is available across different platforms It availability in India is still a mystery.

The device was supposed to be a steam deck alternative, the battery life as well as the fiddly UI held back its performance. Just like the other consoles this console is pricey as well, plus its availability in India is in question. While the steam Deck only has the operational storage of around 256 to 512 gb.
