According to the report, the cybercriminals have started sending a fake message that displays "update your account to get back to watching Netflix.". This means that your payment towards Netflix is unsuccessful, and you need to pay again. If you clicked the fake link provided by cybercriminals, you will lose your hard-earned money.

Similarly, the fraudsters also started duping "Apple" users by sending fake messages that their Apple ID has been blocked. If you follow their instructions to unlock your Apple ID, you will be duped.

An X account, "Indian tech and infra," that shares technology-related news for the people shared a post on Tuesday mentioning, "Cybercriminals are now targeting Netflix users with a highly convincing phishing email scam. They are sending emails with payment failure messages, urging them to update payment details via fraudulent links. Like the pic below."

They also uploaded fake message of the fake mails to warn people. However, social media never leaves a way to troll any news or awareness. A user said, "Mujhe kya karna mere paas toh subscription hi nahi hai."
