Motorola Edge 50 Pro vs Motorola Edge 40 Neo - Which one to choose?

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro mid-range smartphone was recently launched in India. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with 1220×2712 pixel resolution. A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top protects the display of the Edge 50 Pro, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The device gets up to 12GB of RAM and packs 256GB internal storage and runs Android 14 operating system.

A triple rear camera setup includes a 13MP 120° ultra-wide autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 50MP main shooter with f/1.4 aperture, and a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor featuring 50x hybrid zoom. For selfies, there is a 50MP camera at the front. 

A 4,500 mAh battery with 125W TurboPower fast charging powers the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Furthermore, there is a 10W reverse wireless charging support as well as a 50W wireless charging. The smartphone comes at a starting price of Rs 31, 999.

The Edge 50 Pro is available at a starting price of Rs 31,999. The smartphone’s in-house competitor is the Motorola Edge 40 Neo.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset powers the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, which runs Android 13 operating system. The Edge 40 Neo boasts stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. What makes it dust and water resistant is the IP68 rating. As for the battery, the device packs a 5000 mAh unit with 68W fast charging support. 

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo boasts a 50MP shooter with night vision and OIS. There is also a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32-megapixel front lens for selfies.
