Motorola Edge 40 Release Date: Motorola, a major smartphone maker, released its Edge 40 smartphone in Europe earlier this year. The company has now announced the phone’s debut date in the Indian market. A teaser has been released on the brand’s official Twitter feed, revealing the debut date.

According to the company’s teaser, the Motorola Edge 40 will be available for purchase on Flipkart on May 23.

On Flipkart, a micro-site for the new smartphone has been posted, revealing some of its major characteristics. The Motorola Edge 40 smartphone has a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The device’s rear panel has a square-shaped camera module with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. At the same time, the front has a 32MP selfie camera.
The Motorola smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W conventional charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 13.0.

The price of the Indian model of this phone has not yet been published by the firm. The smartphone will be offered in three different colours: Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Lunar Blue.
