Most Expensive iPhone 15 Pro Max Fails Durability Test, Shatters In Pieces | WATCH

The most expensive model of the iPhone 15 series is not as durable as Apple claimed.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is currently making headlines for its disappointing performance in the durability test. The most expensive model of the iPhone 15 series is not as durable as Apple claimed. The rear glass of the titanium frame iPhone shattered, raising concerns about the fate of its standard version and the entire iPhone 15 series. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, both equipped with aluminium frames, passed the test with flying colours. In a YouTube video, Jerry Rig Everything conducted durability tests on all the phones in this series. During the test, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's rear glass broke when it was bent. In contrast, both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro withstood the pressure and did not break. The video began with a scratch test, which all iPhones passed. Apple has used ceramic glass protection instead of Gorilla Glass for these iPhones. Subsequently, a bend test was performed, with both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus proving their durability. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max failed this test, while the iPhone 15 Pro emerged unscathed. Take a look: The reason for this failure is still under debate. Apple claimed on its product page that the Pro lineup is built with titanium strength and the strongest glass used in smartphones to ensure longevity. However, it appears that there may be a structural flaw in the device that the company overlooked, causing the glass to fail under pressure. Another possibility is that the differing elasticity of titanium and aluminium played a role in the results. Regardless of the cause, this could directly impact consumers' wallets. If the glass on your iPhone 15 Pro Max breaks, you may need to spend Rs 17,000 to replace it. Also Read: Diesel Generators Banned In Delhi-NCR; Use This Alternative Instead
