As per a recent news report its possible that the new generation of ear buds from Samsung, Apple and Meta can possibly have small cameras. Since Earbuds have become some of the most common everyday Carry Commodity, major tech giants are planning the next big leap in the overall genesis of the Bluetooth earbuds.
As per a report by Bloomberg after Apple, Samsung is also considering the possibility of new earbuds with camera’s. While no specifics have been revealed about the new innovation it seems that after Ai integration the possibility of small camera’s or sensors could be the next big step in the ear bud technology.
Meta’s New Earbuds
Beyond Apple and Samsung Meta has also joined the pursuit to bring in new innovations to the EarBuds. The recent launch and technical know how that the brand holds on to after launching the new wearable Ray Ban Smart glasses could be of great use for the brand in the development of new wearables.
The biggest merit of the new camera equipped earphones would be that the users would have the ability to look at any object and ask the earbuds to know more about what they are looking at. Some of the challenges that the new invention’s initial prototypes ran into were, that the earbuds could not attain a clear view of the things they were looking at and beyond that the earbuds could not function well when worn by users with long hairs.
Meta’s wearables are in prototype stage, and are being tested thoroughly. Its possible that the new wearables might be launched in the next couple of months or might never make it to the market.
Meta’s Line Up of Wearables
As per the recent leaks there has been additional news about the plans of the company to launch an Oakley Sphaera-Style “supernova2” glass frame with a camera integrated into the main frame of the wearable this year. The new frame is being designed with collaboration with Luxxotica , and would focus on athletes especially cyclists.
Beyond these glasses Facebook might also develop smartwatches as well. These new wearables would have the ability to easily connect within themselves. So you can easily take a photograph and then witness to it on your new wearable watch.
