Lava Yuva 5G: Unisoc T750 SoC, 5000 mAh battery, 50-Megapixel Dual Cameras And More

Lava launched the Yuva 5G, their latest budget phone with 5G capabilities. The phone boasts a Unisoc T750 processor, 6.52" 90Hz display, and 50MP main camera. It runs Android 13 with two years of updates promised. Starting at ₹9,499 ($118 USD), it comes in 4GB RAM/64GB or 128GB storage options.

Lava has launched the Yuva 5G in the Indian market as its latest 5G offering. The new smartphone runs on the Unisoc T750 5G platform. It is claimed to be the first handset in the country to come with this octa-core chipset. The Yuva 5G sports a hole punch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens and packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Lava Yuva 5G dual SIM runs on Android 13 and the brand guarantees two years of security updates. Additionally, it also promises an upgrade to Android 14 for the new handset. It has a 6.52-inch IPS HD+ screen with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels with a pixel density of 269ppi and a 90Hz refresh rate. In the top centre, there is a 2.5D curved display with a hole punch. It runs on an octa-core Unisoc T750 5G SoC with 4GB of RAM. The built-in memory can be expanded up to 8GB with additional storage.

Just like the recently launched Lava phones, the Yuva 5G also features a dual rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel secondary snapper, and an LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel camera shooter with a screen flash.

The Lava Yuva 5G offers an internal storage of 128GB, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone’s connectivity options include Bluetooth 5, 4G VoLTE, OTG, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device comes with an accelerometer, proximity sensor, magnetometer, and ambient light sensor. It features a fingerprint sensor and supports face unlocking for authentication.

Lava has equipped the new Lava Yuva with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The battery is claimed to offer up to 28 hours of talk time on a single charge. The smartphone measures 163.36 x 76.16 x 9.1 mm and weighs 208 grams.

The 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant of the Lava Yuva 5G carries a price tag of Rs 9,499, while the 4GB RAM+128GB model is priced at Rs 9,999.
