Soon, your JioHotstar app will have new AI-powered features, including a real-time dubbing service, a new voice assistant, and new viewing angles. Reliance has officially announced that these features will be introduced to the app.
Riya Voice Assistant
Jio’s new voice assistant, Riya, is designed to help users discover content effortlessly. Speaking about Riya, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said, “Finding what to watch from thousands of hours of content can feel overwhelming. That’s why we have built Riya, your new voice-enabled search assistant that makes discovering content effortless. Riya is built for the way you think and speak, whether it’s key moments from your favourite shows.”
Riya can understand natural language inputs and deliver relevant search results across episodes, seasons, and years.
Voice Print
Another new feature is Voice Print, a real-time voice cloning service that lets users enjoy their favourite content in the local language. There’s more to it – the feature uses lip-sync and AI voice-cloning technology to recreate the actor’s original voice and expressions.
“With the power of AI voice cloning and lip-sync technology, your favourite stars will not just get dubbed, they will speak in your language, in their own voice, with perfect lip-sync on screen,” Ambani added.

JioLenZ
A feature called JioLenZ will also be added to JioHotstar, letting users watch content from different viewing angles, depending on the screen they are using.
MaxView 3.0
MaxView 3.0 is the final feature being added to JioHotstar. It will let users enjoy real-time options like live scorecards, instant highlights, multiple languages, and different camera angles.
“This cricket viewing experience has been designed around the way you naturally hold your phone, making it more immersive, more intuitive and closer to the action than ever before,” Ambani noted.
Meanwhile, Ambani has not revealed the launch date for these features on the JioHotstar app.
