Reliance Jio has been bombarding the market with new launches and announcements. In a recent news update the brand has made another such announcement. The brand has unveiled its new operating system for smart Tv’s  to meet the needs of the Indian Audiences. The new launch has been aimed to make the smart Tv experience more easily accessible for the users in India. 

Jio Tele OS Availability 

As per the new announcement it has become apparent that the TV’s powered by Jio Tele Os will be available starting January 21.  The OS would debut on smart TV’s  from  brands like Thompson, Kodak, Bpl and JVC. As per jio more TV’s would be powered by the Jio Tele OS by the end of the year. 

Jio Tele OS Details 

While the software has been aimed at providing the smart TV functionality at a much lower price- here are a few of the unique features that the new suite would provide the users with. 

Ai Driven Content Recommendation – Jio has crafted a new recommendation system that would actively learn about the preferences of the user and recommend them new shows as per their needs. It further uses Ai tech to filter and ensure that the most accurate recommendations

Performance: As per Jio the new Suite would allow the users to seamlessly toggle between lag free operation and watch 4k content with ease. 

Content Support: In addition to a library of Tv channels, Jio Tele OS, would offer the users with access to several Ott platforms, cloud gaming and more features. The Users would be able toe easily switch between the different content using a single remote to navigate.

Software Support: one of the biggest issues with the smart TV OS that was being sold by most manufacturers had software’s that were incapable of supporting new updates. Jio Tele OS would not be like that as Jio has confirmed that the OS would remain compatible with new Applications and changes with ease. 

The Tele OS platform is quite different than that of the Jio TV OS, which had been announced last year at Reliance Industries. The Jio Tele OS is meant for smart TV’s. the Jio TV OS platform serves as an operating system for Jio Set Up Boxes- These can be paired with regular TV’s as well. While the Tele OS would be a built in feature.
