Several users across India reported that Jio Hotstar was inoperable for a while around 4 o’clock in the evening. This led to a major disruption for users trying to access movies, TV shows, and live events. Frustrated fans took to social media to vent their frustration — though, of course, a few users expressed their disappointment in a rather humorous way.
What Did Jio Hotstar Say?
“Due to some unforeseen technical issue, some of our users may experience problems while streaming content or accessing the platform. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue. We regret the inconvenience caused,” said Jio Hotstar in response to users who took to social media to talk about the outage.
Jio Hotstar later resumed operations, and several users received updates from the Jio Hotstar team over on Twitter.
