The much-anticipated iQOO Z9 series has finally been launched in China. The smartphone lineup comprises three models: iQOO Z9 Turbo, iQOO Z9x, and iQOO Z9. While the Z9x is a pocket-friendly option, the Turbo is a top-spec model. The vanilla iQOO Z9 is different from the smartphone available in India. Let’s have a look at the details of all the three smartphones.
iQOO Z9 Turbo specifications
The iQOO Z9 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. Additionally, it gets 3840Hz PWM Dimming, Dolby Vision, and support for HDR10+. A Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset powers the Z9 Turbo, while a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging packs a punch for long use. The smartphone boasts up to LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and runs Origin OS 4 based on Android 14.
In terms of optics, the iQOO Z9 Turbo sports a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide sensor on the back and supports up to 4K60fps video recording. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP snapper upfront with FHD video recording capability.
iQOO Z9
The iQOO Z9 shares the software, display, battery size, charging speeds and front camera with the iQOO Z9 Turbo. However, what makes it different from the Turbo are the processor, rear cameras and memory. It gets 12GB LPDDR4x RAM+ 512GB UFS 2.2 storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. As for the camera, it sports a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

iQOO Z9x
The iQOO Z9x is essentially a rebadged version of the Vivo T3x, which is available in India. However, the Z9x features a new design, Origin OS 4 and different colours that include Black, White, Light Green.
Just like the T3x, it packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W charging, Android 14, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 6.72-inch 120Hz IPS LCD screen, and 50MP+2MP dual rear cameras.
