The iQOO 15 will soon make its debut on October 20 in China. While iQOO has not officially revealed any details about the phone, key elements of its specifications have been leaked online. Posts by Digital Chat Station on Weibo have revealed the full specifications of the device.
iQOO 15: Leaked Specifications
According to the leaked information, the iQOO 15 will feature a Samsung M14 LEAD AMOLED 8T LTPO display. The screen delivers a 2K+ resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The display size is expected to measure around 6.85 inches with rounded corners. It will offer 1000 nits brightness along with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, coupled with a Q3 chip designed to improve gaming graphics. It will also house a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Camera Specs
The phone is expected to ship with a 32 MP front camera for selfies. On the rear, it will feature a 50 MP primary camera using a 1/1.56-inch sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The device is also expected to include an 8K vapor chamber cooling system and hold IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
After its launch in China, the iQOO 15 is expected to arrive in the Indian market between mid and late November. The smartphone is likely to be priced around Rs. 60,000, positioning it just above the iQOO 13 in the company’s lineup.
