With the launch of the new iPhone 17 series fast approaching, the pace of leaks suggestions have increased as well. In recent leaks it has been alleged that the upcoming Apple iPhone 17 Pro Models would feature a redesigned rear camera panel that would span out to the full breadth of the device. While previous rumours had alleged that the camera bar would have a contrasting colour to that of the rest of the phone. Recent leaks have suggested that the camera bar would be of the same color as that of the whole phone. So it’s possible that the two-tone design that was being alleged as the final look might be off the table.
What The Previous Leaks Had Revealed?
But previous leaks had also showcased that the phone’s chassis was to use glass as well as brushed aluminum composites for the back and the back was supposed to have a glass & aluminum façade. Which of these two versions will become a reality remains a mystery.
The leak has been revealed by Bloomberg’s Mark Gruman, in his latest Power On News Letter, he revealed that the iPhone 17 wouldn’t have a two toned back, as previous renders had depicted.
Full Metal Back Or Half Glass Half Aluminum Back
Hence, in this sense the new iPhone 17 would not be that much of a departure from the previous gen models. While Gruman has strongly suggested that the whole back would be carved out of brushed aluminum, certain sources such as The Information, still consider half aluminum and half glass built to be the final look. The glass back would be necessary for enabling faster charging and the aluminum frame would help the phone be rather robust against falls and damage.
The new model is expected to be announced in September.
A19 Pro Chip, A Larger Battery
The phone would possibly use Apple’s next-gen A19 pro chip, The new chips would be manufactured with TSMC’s newer third generation 3Nm process, Beyond that the phone would also get a bigger battery that would help the users get a much more optimized battery usage.
A Wi-fi 7 Chip – After The 16-e getting a new upgraded C3 chip the new model would get a Wi-fi 7 chip that has been specifically designed by Apple. Beyond that the phone is being rumored to have a 24 MP front camera and a 48 MP rear telephoto camera. iPhone 17 would have 12 Gb of RAM and improved architecture that has been crafted for better overall cooling ,with a vapor cooling chamber. All 17 models would have better design changes that would result in better heat dissipation and improved cooling.
