With September – Apple’s biggest month of the year – fast approaching, excitement around the iPhone 17 series is growing by the day. At its upcoming launch event, Apple is expected to unveil its flagship lineup – the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air, along with a handful of other devices.
Amid all the anticipation and buzz, a slip-up happened ahead of the official launch. The invite for the iPhone 17 event was accidentally posted by the tech giant on the Apple TV app. Although it was quickly taken down, the banner image revealed a glimpse of the MacBook Air wallpaper. This could have been Apple’s way of hinting at the debut of its first ‘Air’ iPhone — the iPhone 17 Air.
Here’s What Happened
As Apple accidentally posted the invite on the Apple TV app but was quick to delete it, Apple Leaker managed to take a screenshot of the event, although blurry. The picture reveals an Apple logo surrounded by bright purple rays in the backdrop.
