New Delhi: Apple is all set to launch its much-anticipated iPhone 16 Series on September 9 during the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event. While tech enthusiasts eagerly await the release of the iPhone 16 Series, rumours have been doing rounds revealing several expected details about the smartphones. Apple has already officially announced that the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be launched on September 9 in India.
According to latest reports, the prices of the upcoming iPhone 16 series have been leaked just days before the official launch. The prices have been leaked by Apple Hub. However, there is no official word from the company.
iPhone 16 Series Expected Price in India
- iPhone 16 base model: $799 (Approximately Rs 67,100)
- iPhone 16 Plus: $899 (Approximately Rs 75,500)
- iPhone 16 Pro: $1,099 (Approximately Rs 92,300)
- iPhone 16 Pro Max: $1,199 (Approximately Rs 1,00,700)
Meanwhile, Apple is also likely to unveil the iPhone SE 4, according to reports. According to a Bloomberg report, a host of products from the company, including the iPhone SE 3, are thin on their stocks. The report suggests that the successor to the iPhone SE 3 – the iPhone SE 4 – could be announced.
On the contrary, an Android Authority report claimed that there are slim chances for the launch of iPhone SE 4. It suggested that it would make debut on March or April 2025.

Apple recently announced the launch date for its iPhone Series in India. The company sent out invites for the launch at the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event, scheduled to take place on September 9, 2024.

At the Apple ‘It’s Glowtime’ event, the The Cupertino-headquartered company is expected to launch the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max along with the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE and AirPods 4.
According to reports, Apple will also announce the launch date of iOS 18 along with software updates for its devices at the event.

According to Apple, viewers can watch the Apple event on September 9 at 10:30 PM IST at apple.com or on the Apple TV app.
The iPhone 16 will be available for purchase on the first day of its global sales in India, shortly followed by iPhone 16 Plus models, reports say.
