With the launch of the iPhone 16 series, buying older iPhone models may no longer be a wise decision. Customers who recently purchased an iPhone 15 may qualify for a partial refund under certain conditions.
Refund Policy for Recent iPhone 15 Buyers
Apple’s retail policy in India allows customers to claim a refund if the price drops within 14 days of purchase. If you’ve bought the last model i.e. 15 within the last two weeks and the price decreases after the iPhone 16 release, you can request a refund for the price difference by visiting an Apple Store or contacting the Apple Contact Centre at 000800 040 1966.
Price Protection for Multiple Devices
Apple’s price protection plan covers up to ten units of a single model, allowing families or customers with multiple iPhone 15 units to seek refunds for each device. Proof of purchase is required to access this benefit.

Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro models are Rs 15,000 cheaper than last year’s launch price of the 15 Pro models in India.
