New Delhi: Tech giant Google celebrated Coffee Day in its own way. It shared two separate images on its LinkedIn handle of two Coffee mugs each carrying the Google logo on the top. The logos are made of Latte art, a method of preparing coffee created by pouring microfoam on the top of the cup.
The post has so far attracted 10k likes and more the 200 comments, mostly praising this amazing art work of Google employees.

Sharing the post, Google wrote on LinkedIn, “We’re celebrating #InternationalCoffeeDay with this awesome coffee art shared by Googlers Kamil and Trevor! #LifeAtGoogle wouldn’t be the same without our morning cup, or three!”
Why do we celebrate Coffee day?
The first of October is celebrated as International Coffee Day, and celebrations of coffee as a beverage take place all around the world on this day. According to the then-International Coffee Organization, the first official date was set for 3 October 2015, and it was introduced in Milan. On this day, fair trade coffee is promoted as well as the predicament of coffee growers is brought to the public’s attention.

Numerous establishments give away or heavily discount coffee on this day. Some companies use social networking to distribute coupons and exclusive offers to their devoted customers. Some greeting card businesses offer free e-cards for International Coffee Day in addition to selling greeting cards.
