AI has transformed the technology dynamic over the years, but its perennial transformation and development in the next few years and decades mean that it will soon generate productivity gains in most areas, such as electricity, telecom, and IT.
Over the span of its development, the US has fostered and regularly showcased the opportunities of investment in AI. In the recent past, Ashish Chauhan wrote in a post about the possibility of development in AI and investment prospective.
AI story till now. It is still unfolding.

AI is a very useful technology and will change life transformationally in next few years and decades. It will generate substantial productivity gains in most areas like electricity, telecom or IT did.
In AI, Large US companies and…
Here is a summary of the ideas he brought forward:
- While AI is a growing sector, it has often been showcased as a business that has large investment possibility. These were all tactics to create hype, a part of the awe and shock model that the US uses to control most new technologies and keep small countries and companies out of the game by manipulation.
- India has been constantly reminded about the increased investment other countries have been funneling into the AI field. Away from the hype, the AI field is now moving towards democratization, which brings down the prices of new technologies every day. Last few weeks have been able to prove that the projected idea of AI models from China needing larger computers and hardware tech are false.
- The shock and awe part of the US AI story has been punctured substantially. Repercussions of the new challenges will be felt over the next several years.
- Even after having a slow start in the IT race, India was able to take over, and I feel that the nation will be able to do so again with the AI race in the next 20–30 years. The next steps of the development will be to think of newer ways to combine robotics and AI.
