New Delhi: Chipmaker Intel has launched new Xeon W-3400 and Xeon W-2400 (codenamed Sapphire Rapids) desktop processors designed for professional creators to deliver massive performance for media and entertainment, engineering and data professionals science.
The new workstation processors are now available for pre-order from industry partners, with system availability beginning in March, according to the company.

In addition, the company said the Xeon W-3400 and Xeon W-2400 processor series enable unprecedented scalability for higher performance thanks to a new breakthrough computing architecture, faster cores and new EMIB (embedded multi-dies interconnect bridge) packaging.
The new processors also provide the high-end computing foundation that today’s professionals require for the future of computing.
The chipmaker also said that with DDR5 RDIMM memory, PCIe Gen 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6E, the new processors give professionals the cutting-edge platform technology they need for the computing workloads of the future.
