Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the Grand Vitara in two CNG variants at an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.85 lakh to Rs 14.84 lakh, while Toyota Kirloskar Motor has also launched the CNG version of the Urban Cruiser Hyrider SUV. The car is available in two variants G and S at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15.29 lakh to Rs 13.23 lakh. The Grand Vitara CNG uses a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine with a CNG kit, which generates 103 bhp power and 136 Nm torque. On CNG mode, this car generates 88 bhp power and 121 Nm torque. Only 5-speed manual transmission option has been given in it. Maruti claims that the Grand Vitara CNG returns a mileage of 26.6km/kg.
